Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited (P&G) has announced a change in its senior management effective December 31, 2024. Sahil Sethi, who has served as the Category Leader for Personal Health Care, will be completing his tenure with the company and stepping down from his position. With the change, Ms. Maithreyi Jagannathan will take over as the new Vice President and Category Leader for Personal Health Care starting January 1, 2025.
This leadership transition marks a significant development for P&G India, with Ms. Jagannathan bringing nearly 20 years of diverse experience in commercial roles across multiple geographies and business functions. Her career at P&G India began in 2005 when she joined as an Assistant Brand Manager. Over the years, she has contributed to the growth of both P&G’s business and people, working across several roles and locations, including the USA, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Currently, Ms. Jagannathan holds the position of Vice President and Commercial Leader for Personal Health Care in Indonesia. Her international experience and leadership in commercial roles make her an excellent fit for the Personal Health Care Category Leader role at P&G India. She will be responsible for overseeing P&G’s personal health care business, focusing on driving innovation and expanding the company’s reach in this crucial segment.
Ms. Jagannathan’s appointment follows the completion of Mr. Sethi’s assignment, who expressed his gratitude for the leadership team’s support during his tenure. In a note, he thanked the India leadership team for their collaboration and wished P&G India continued success as he moves on to the next chapter in his career.
